A native of Waterloo, New York, Mr. Chasse began teaching at Our Lady of Black Rock School in September 2017. He is a graduate of Medaille College, earning degrees in Liberal Arts and Adolescent Education, as well as St. Bonaventure University where he obtained his Master's Degree in Differentiated Instruction. He is currently certified to teach Social Studies and Special Education for Grades 7-12.

Professionally, he spent one year with Tapestry Charter School in North Buffalo as an AmeriCorps volunteer and assistant, along with serving multiple school districts as a substitute teacher, and as a long-term substitute Special Education teacher at Clarence Middle School and Hamburg High School. He has also spent 10 years as a program counselor at Rotary Camp Onseyawa, a residential camp for children with disabilities and challenges in Ovid, New York each August.

Outside of the classroom, Mr. Chasse is a self-professed trivia geek who enjoys watching sports (Go Sabres/Packers!!), IndyCar and sports car racing, bike riding and other outdoor activities as well as spending time with friends and family. He lives in the West Side of Buffalo with his eccentric orange tabby cat Charlie.
